Prof. Shunsuke Fukami, Dr. Hiroshi Yabu, Dr. Akichika Kumatani and Dr. Katsuaki Sugawara were bestowed the title of Tohoku University Distinguished Researcher.
The Tohoku University Distinguished Researcher System is a newly established program that supports young faculty members who have made outstanding achievements in their field of expertise.
The activities of Distinguished Researchers are expected to contribute to the further development of education and research at the university as well as the societal development.
