From Narita Airport

Access to Sendai Station from Narita Airport: Take Narita Sky Access Line or Keisei Line from Narita Airport Station or Airport Terminal 2 Station to Ueno Station, which is about 60 mins from Narita Airport. Then take the Tohoku Shinkansen(bullet train), which links Ueno to Sendai in 100 minutes.

From Haneda Airport

Access to Sendai Station from Haneda Airport Domestic Terminal Station: Take Keikyu Airport Line to Shinagawa Station for 20 minutes, change to Yamanote Line from Shinagawa for 11 minutes. Then take the Tohoku Shinkansen (Bullet Train) to Sendai Station, which links Tokyo to Sendai in 100 minutes. Access to Sendai Station from Haneda Airport Terminal 1 Station/ Terminal 2 Station: Take the Tokyo Monorail to Hamamatsucho Station for 20 minutes and change to Yamanote Line to Tokyo Station for 6 minutes. Then take the Tohoku Shinkansen (Bullet Train) to Sendai Station, which links Tokyo to Sendai in 100 minutes.

From Sendai Airport

Access to Sendai Station from Sendai Airport: Please take Sendai Airport Access Line, which links Sendai Airport to Sendai Station in just 25 minutes.

From Sendai Station

On foot About 15 minutes walk from the West Exit of Sendai Station.
By subway
  • Take the subway Tozai Line from Sendai Station to Aobadori Ichibancho Station (About 2 minutes). Exit at South 1. Walk from the exit about 10 minutes.
  • Take the subway Namboku Line from Sendai Station to Itsutsubashi Station (About 2 minutes). Exit at North 2 or North 4. Walk from the exit about 10 minutes.
By taxi About 10 minutes by taxi from the West Exit on the first floor of Sendai Station to the North Gate of Katahira Campus.
By bus Take a city bus bound for either Yagiyama-Dobutsu-Koen, Midorigaoka-3-chome or Nishi-Koukou-Iriguchi via Otamaya-bashi from platform 11 at the Sendai Station West side bus terminal. Get off at Tohoku-dai-Seimon-Mae.
