“3 Fields × 3 Tops” Strategy
AIMR aims to contribute to society by building foundations for safe and fulfilling lives through innovation in materials science, creation of novel functional materials, and development of new devices. To achieve this goal, AIMR combines five research groups (four Materials Research Groups and the Mathematical Science Group) with the “3 Fields × 3 Tops” Strategy, and actively promotes fusion research for new materials and device development by applying the state-of-the-art mathematical methods.
