An AIMR sponsored feature published in the scientific journal “Science”
A sponsored feature on AIMR has been published in the April 30, 2026, issue of the international scientific journal “Science”.
In the article titled “Meet a young, global community of materials scientists in Sendai,” Prof. Shin-ichi Orimo, Director of AIMR, and Prof. Hao Li, Principal Investigator at AIMR, introduce AIMR’s international and interdisciplinary research environment. They also discuss AIMR’s core strategy: driving innovation in materials science by using mathematics as a common language. Furthermore, they highlight specific examples of collaborative research—symbolizing AIMR’s research strategy—achieved by the two researchers from different fields.
