[Katahira Festival 2025] A public lecture titled “AI That Computes with the Environment” by Prof. Hiroyasu Ando has been released
On October 11, 2025, a special talk session for the general public was held as part of the “Katahira Festival 2025.” From AIMR, Professor Hiroyasu Ando from the Mathematical Science Group participated. The video was posted on the Tohoku University Katahira Festival YouTube account.
Prof. Ando gave a lecture titled “AI That Computes with the Environment,” introducing the novel concept of “Environmentally Inspired Physical Reservoir Computing,”–a new approach that uses the environment itself to process information. Please take a look.
