Prof. Thomas P. Russell won the 2020 Clifford G. Shull Prize

Prof. Thomas P. Russell, AIMR Principal Investigator, has been awarded the 2020 Clifford G. Shull Prize by the Neutron Scattering Society of America (NSSA).

This prize recognizes outstanding research in neutron science and leadership promoting the North American neutron scattering community in honor of Clifford G. Shull, who received the Nobel Prize in Physics in 1994.

Prof. Russell was honored for his pivotal role in the application to polymer science and his important work on behalf of the neutron scattering community.

The award ceremony was held at the NSSA annual meeting on July 20th, where he gave the plenary lecture.
