Summary

Assistant Professor Hiroyuki Tamura of the Advanced Institute of Material Research (AIMR) at Tohoku University in collaboration with the Goethe University at Frankfurt elucidated through computer simulation that charge loss is suppressed through the fast movement of the charge carriers excited by light energy in organic semiconductors with a high degree of crystallinity in organic thin film solar cells.
