Prof. Russell elected as the National Academy of Inventors (NAI) Fellow

Prof. Thomas P. Russell, AIMR Principal Investigator, has been elected as the 2018 National Academy of Investors (NAI) Fellow.

The NAI is a US non-profit organization founded in 2010. The NAI Fellows Program was established to highlight academic inventors who have demonstrated a prolific spirit of innovation in creating or facilitating outstanding inventions that have made a tangible impact on quality of life, economic development and the welfare of society.

In 2018, the NAI has named 148 renowned academic inventors to NAI Fellow status. Included among this year’s NAI Fellows are presidents and senior leaders of research universities and non-profit research institutes; recipients of the U.S. National Medal of Technology & Innovation and U.S. National Medal of Science; and Nobel Laureates, among other awards and distinctions.

On April 11, 2019, the 2018 NAI Fellows will be inducted as part of the 8th NAI Annual Meeting in Houston, Texas, US.
