Prof. Yuichi Ikuhara won the 9th Ceramics Grand Prize
Prof. Yuichi Ikuhara, PI at the AIMR, won the 9th Ceramics Grand Prize from the Ceramic Society of Japan, and the award ceremony was held on June 5.
This Prize is presented to individuals in recognition of their original and innovative achievements for inventions, development, or practical applications in the ceramics industry, or discoveries related to the science and technology of ceramics.
Prof. Ikuhara has been honored for his “development of advanced electron microscopy and contributions to ceramic grain boundary engineering.”
