AIMR principal investigator Hideo Ohno (professor of REIC
and director of CSIS) was awarded the 2012 IEEE David Sarnoff Award by IEEE (Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers).This award recognizes seminal contributions and leadership in bridging semiconductor electronics with magnetism and spintronics.The award ceremony was held at IEEE International Magnetics Conference in Vancouver, Canada on 9 May 2012.
