Recruitment of Specially Appointed Assistant Professor at Adschiri Lab, Advanced Institute for Materials Research (AIMR), Tohoku University

Adschiri Laboratory, Soft Materials Group, Advanced Institute for Materials Research (AIMR), Tohoku University invites applications for the position of Specially Appointed Assistant Professor (Research). This position is for a researcher who will conduct research of supercritical hydrothermal synthesis of nanoparticles, evaluation of reactivity of nanoparticle surface, and adsorption of molecules on nanoparticles, under the collaboration project with a company.

This call is particularly open to researchers who can conduct nanoparticle synthesis and characterization experiments. The objective is to elucidate the characteristics of ultrasmall metal oxides in terms of adsorption property and surface reactivity not only with molecules but also with solid surface.

AIMR uses English as its official language, so proficiency in Japanese is not required. The position does not include teaching duties, providing an environment where you can focus entirely on research.

Working Hours
The Discretionary Labor System for Professional Work will be applied. A total of 7.75 hours is to be worked by the employee per day, with the time worked left to their own discretion. Employees are allowed breaks in accordance with Japanese labor laws.
