Prof. Gerrit Ernst-Wilhelm Bauer selected to receive a Humboldt Research Award
Prof. Gerrit Ernst-Wilhelm Bauer, Principal Investigator at the AIMR, has been selected to receive a Humboldt Research Award.
This award, bestowed by the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation in Germany, honor a researcher whose fundamental discoveries, new theories, or insights have had a significant impact on their own discipline and who are expected to continue producing cutting-edge achievements in the future.
Prof. Bauer has been selected in recognition of “his accomplishments in the research and teaching of magnetism”. An award ceremony will be held at the “Humboldt Symposium” in Bamberg, Germany, March 2024.
