Prof. Gerrit Ernst-Wilhelm Bauer, Principal Investigator at the AIMR, was selected as a Fellow of the Japan Society of Applied Physics (JSAP) (16^th edition).

This Fellow Award shall be presented to members who contributed to the progress of applied physics by their achievements in academic research, in the development and fostering of industrial technologies, in human resource cultivation, and in educational and public-interest activities through the JSAP.

Prof. Bauer was selected as a recipient of the Fellow Award “For the Theoretical Exposition of Order Parameter Transport in Magnets and Ferroelectrics in Collaboration with Japanese Researchers.”

An Award Ceremony will be held at the 83rd JSAP Autumn Meeting during September 20-23, 2022 at the Tohoku University, Sendai.
