Dr. Tomoki Uda received the 2018 MSJ Prize for Excellent Applied Mathematicians

Dr. Tomoki Uda, Assistant Professor at AIMR, received the 2018 MSJ Prize for Excellent Applied Mathematicians.

The Prize is awarded to young researchers who have obtained outstanding results in the field of Applied Mathematics. Dr. Uda was recognized for his work in “Discrete formulation of Reeb graphs and its application to topological flow data analysis.”

The award ceremony was held on March 17 at Tokyo Institute of Technology as part of the MSJ Spring Meeting 2019.
