Prof. Nishiura received MIMS Mimura Award
Specially Appointed Prof. Yasumasa Nishiura （Former; Principal Investigator）received the 1st MIMS Mimura Award.
This MIMS Mimura Award as commendation to person who have achieved exceptional accomplishment in mathematical sciences, especially in pursuing mathematical understanding of social and natural phenomena by mathematical modeling and analysis、and as an aim of promoting further progress in mathematical science based on modeling and applications.
Prof. Nishiura was highly recognized for his work in the “Mathematics of Patterns”.
The award ceremony & presentation will be held at Nakano Campus, Meiji University on December 22nd.
