Summary

A research group led by Research Associate Toshinori Fujie and Principle Investigator Ali Khademhosseini of the Advanced Institute for Materials Research (AIMR) at Tohoku University, in collaboration with Harvard University and others, have succeeded in artificially recapitulating nanostructure and property of the basement membrane, an ultra-thin membrane located inside the human body.
