Professor M. Adschiri won the 11th GSC Award awarded by Minister of MEXT.

Professor Tadafumi Adschiri, PI of Advanced Institute for Materials Research (AIMR), Tohoku University (Institute of Multidisciplinary Research for Advanced Materials and New Industry Hatchery Center concurrent) received the 11th GSC (Green & Sustainable Chemistry) Award awarded by the Minister of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology. The GSC awards are presented by the GSCN (Green and Sustainable Chemistry Network) that promotes chemistry and chemical technology which facilitates a sustainable society. The Minister of Education Prize awards achievements in the development and popularization in the academic fields. Prof. Adschiri received this prize for his achievements in "Mass synthesis of low environmental impact organic modified metal oxide nanoparticles in supercritical water".

The awards ceremony and lecture was held on June 12/13 at Belle Salle Kanda, 1st Annual JACI/GSC Symposium (12th GSC Symposium).
