Dr. Obayashi received the 6th Hiroshi Fujiwara Encouragement Prize for Mathematical Sciences
Dr. Ippei Obayashi, AIMR Assistant Professor, was awarded the 6th Hiroshi Fujiwara Encouragement Prize for Mathematical Sciences.
This prize was established in 2012 to promote the application of mathematical sciences to industry or solutions for social problems.
Dr. Obayashi was highly recognized for his work in the “Application development of Persistent homology.”
The award ceremony was held on September 30th.
