Dr. Reiko Oda selected as a Japanese coordinator of the Core-to-Core Program

Dr. Reiko Oda, Principal Investigator at AIMR, has been selected as a Japanese coordinator of the “Core-to-Core Program (A) Advanced Research Networks” implemented by the Japan Society for the Promotion of Science (JSPS).

This program is designed to build sustainable cooperative relationships between research and educational institutions in Japan and around the world, to create international and regional centers of excellence for research exchange, and to foster the next generations of trailblazing young researchers. In particular, “(A) Advanced Research Networks” program is intended for research projects in Japan that are recognized as cutting-edge and of international importance.

Dr. Oda has been selected for the project entitled “Unexplored Science Creation Research Interweaving Various Chiral Fields and Material Chirality,”. She will form the core of chirality research with AIMR as the Japanese core institution, together with many domestic cooperating institutions and cooperating researchers, and promote collaboration among centers in France, Italy, Switzerland, and Thailand, aiming to build an independent and sustainable multilateral international research center.
