Delegation led by Ichiro Takahashi, Director for Science, Technology and Academic Strategy at the MEXT, visited AIMR
On June 19, 2026, AIMR welcomed a delegation led by Mr. Ichiro Takahashi, Director for Science, Technology and Academic Strategy at the Science and Technology Policy Bureau of the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology (MEXT). During their meeting with Director Shin-ichi Orimo, the attendees engaged in a productive and lively exchange of views on science and technology policy. Following the discussion, the delegation toured the institute’s research facilities and administrative offices, where they were introduced to AIMR’s organizational initiatives aimed at leading the way as a University for International Research Excellence.
