AIMR Exhibited at the Materials Research Society (MRS) 2025 Fall Meeting
AIMR exhibited a booth at the Materials Research Society (MRS) 2025 Fall Meeting, held in Boston, USA, from December 2 to 4, 2025.
MRS is an international materials science organization with approximately 14,500 members across about 90 countries worldwide. As an Academy Center of the World Premier International Research Center Initiative (WPI), AIMR exhibited a booth alongside the JSPS-WPI Program Center and the Kyoto University’s iCeMS (Institute for Integrated Cell-Material Sciences). The booth aimed to enhance the international visibility of the WPI program and to showcase the research activities of both centers. In addition, staff from the JSPS Washington Office introduced the JSPS International Fellowships to researchers seeking opportunities to conduct research in Japan, and carried out outreach activities to raise the global reputation of Japan’s research environment.
Many visitors stopped by our booth, including researchers, students, and industry researchers attending the meeting. In addition to questions about AIMR’s research, we received numerous inquiries regarding career development at AIMR, Tohoku University, and in Japan.
This exhibition provided a valuable opportunity to introduce AIMR to people from diverse countries and research fields. We extend our sincere appreciation to everyone who visited our booth.
