[8/1] Hybrid event: “INTERWOVEN: A WPI-AIMR & WPI-SKCM2 Symposium”
Tohoku University's WPI-AIMR and Hiroshima University's WPI-SKCM2, which have been selected for the World Premier International Research Center Initiative (WPI), will hold a joint symposium on Friday, August 1, 2025, to introduce innovative research connecting different fields such as mathematics, materials science, and engineering as world-leading research centers.
This symposium focuses on the new concept of mathematically capturing “entanglement” and “interwoven” structures through universal models and applying them to new material design. Discussions will also explore applications in various fields including textiles and medicine.
