Prof. Elena Maria Baralis, deputy rector of Politecnico di Torino, visits AIMR
On August 28, 2026, AIMR welcomed Professor Elena Maria Baralis, deputy rector of the Politecnico di Torino, Italy.
Following an overview presentation of AIMR by Dr. Maki Suemitsu, director of the Research Support Division, Prof. Baralis gave an introduction to the Politecnico di Torino. Professor Hao Li—whose research interests closely align with those of hers—subsequently gave a presentation on materials research that integrates AI, data science, and advanced measurement techniques. She then toured the Li Laboratory. We would like to express our sincere appreciation for her visit.
