Delegates from the Research Promotion Bureau, MEXT, visited AIMR
On May 12, 2026, a delegation of four people led by Mr. Sumikawa, Director of Basic and Generic Research Division, Research Promotion Bureau, Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology (MEXT), visited AIMR.
In an overview presentation of AIMR, we introduced AIMR’s international research environment developed as a WPI Academy center, as well as our specific initiatives and contributions toward the development of Tohoku University as a University for International Research Excellence. A constructive exchange of views took place regarding the further strengthening of research capabilities, followed by a tour of the Sato Laboratory’s state-of-the-art measurement equipment. We would like to express our sincere appreciation for their visit.
