JICA (Japan International Cooperation Agency) participants and staff visited AIMR
On September 29, 2025, a delegation of participants and staff from JICA’s “The University Network Program of Engineering Education Development” visited AIMR.
“The University Network Program of Engineering Education Development” is implemented as part of JICA's specialized training programs. Eleven participants, primarily affiliated with engineering universities, participated from nine countries and regions. This visit was arranged because Tohoku university was selected as one of the field visit destinations.
Following an overview presentation of AIMR and a Q&A session, the group toured Sato Laboratory and Yabu Laboratory. The participants asked a wide range of questions about AIMR's international collaboration strategy and operational structure, leading to a lively discussion. We would like to express our sincere appreciation for their visit.
