AIMR has signed an inter-departmental academic exchange agreement with the Faculty of Engineering at the University of Nottingham

On July 25, 2024, AIMR signed an inter-departmental academic exchange agreement with the Faculty of Engineering at the University of Nottingham, U.K. The agreement was jointly signed by Prof. Samuel Kingman, Pro-Vice-Chancellor for the Faculty of Engineering at the University of Nottingham, and Prof. Shin-ichi Orimo, Director of the AIMR.

The Hydrogen Science Research Group at the Faculty of Engineering at the University of Nottingham and Prof. Orimo at AIMR have been conducting joint research on the development of hydrogen storage materials for a long time. They have actively collaborated through researcher exchanges and joint publications. The agreement was recently concluded with a commitment to further expanding and strengthening collaborative research.

This agreement is expected to promote joint research and academic exchange with the Faculty of Engineering at the University of Nottingham, utilizing the facilities of the AIMR's Open Innovation Center of Hydrogen Science for GX.
