Prof. Motoko Kotani commissioned as Science and Technology Co-Advisor to the Minister for Foreign Affairs
On April 1, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan commissioned Prof. Motoko Kotani, Tohoku University Executive Vice President for Research as well as Principal Investigator at AIMR, Science and Technology Co-Advisor to the Minister for Foreign Affairs. Prof. Kotani will support the activities of Prof. Yoichiro Matsumoto who has been serving as Science and Technology Advisor to the Minister for Foreign Affairs. It is expected that Prof. Kotani’s advice and activities as Science and Technology Co-Advisor to the Minister for Foreign Affairs will further enhance Japan's science and technology diplomacy.
