Title：Soflock Eye-rope: tie without tying, loosen without loosening. Is it mathematics?
Abstract：
Soflock Eye-rope was invented by Sumihiro Matsumoto and patented in 2014 with Makoto Matsumoto. The structure of Eye-rope is close to a virtual knot, but the thickness of the code and the place of the bonding in the code have important sense. A point of an Eye-rope can be fixed by passing through several eyes, and once fixed it is softly locked. It is easy to fasten or loosen. One can fix the point at almost every point where the Eye-rope has its own Eye. At the same time, these fix points are digitalized. Because it is softly locked at every place, the Eye-rope gives very comfortable dog leads and collars. On the other hand, it gives convenient orthopedic casts. (You need to look at an Eye-rope carefully: it is flexible and the flexibility is strictly limited. A chain made by metal can usually not pass through the eye of the same chain, so hard to lock. A spring will be deformed until the rigidity is lost.) The speaker does not know any mathematics that deals with Eye-ropes, and gives this talk to seek for anyone (in particular a mathematician) interested in Eye-ropes and its convenience.
