Title: Complex dynamics of localized patterns in reaction-diffusion system

Reaction-diffusion PDE's are ubiquitous as models of pattern
formation in a variety of biological and social systems. Some prominent examples include animal skin patterns; vortex lattices in Bose-Einstein
condensates; patterns in chemical reactions. In this talk, we will see
several classes of singularly reaction-diffusion system, exhibiting
three different types of localized structures: interfaces in one
dimension, spots in two dimensions, and vortices in two dimensions.
These structures can exhibit very complex dynamics, we will explore the
mechanism that triggers these phenomena and characterize the trajectory of the motion.
