Title: Time-delay systems, and dynamics in spaces without natural metrics

Evolution equations with time-delay are used for mathematical models to explain various phenomena.
A key ingredient of such systems is the infinite-dimensionality of dynamics even if the degree of freedom is finite.
In this talk, we will see how the well-posedness is obtained for the initial value problems,
which is a fundamental step to study the dynamics of various time-delay systems in a unified way.
Furthermore, we will investigate dynamical systems whose phase spaces do not have natural metrics
to aim at elucidating dynamics in infinite dimensions beyond Banach spaces.
