Professor Russell (AIMR oversea PI) gave a tea time talk about "Kinetically Trapped Structures: Systems Far Removed From Equilibrium -- Challenges for Materials Scientists and Mathematicians Alike."

Professor Eiji Saito talked at Joint Seminar, "Dynamical Generation of Spin Currents."

4th HIERARCHY/INTERFACE Study Group Meeting (organized by Hitosugi-sensei and Adschiri-sensei) was held after TeaTime. Dr. Hirata talked about BMG.

Dr. Takahide Kubota gave a presentation, "Fabrication of Spin-Memory Device Element using Green Material."

Assistant Professor Seigo Souma won the AIMR award. 

TV crew of "Test no Hanamichi" on NHK educational channel came to shoot footage of experiment at Takahashi lab and Hitosugi lab.

Takayama-san from Takahashi lab played trombone at Tea Time mini concert.

AIMR signed an agreement about Satellite lab with University of Cambridge.
