2025. 9. 25 Prof. Takashi Goto, my PhD supervisor at Tohoku University, and Dr. Masahichi Saito, CEO of the Nippon Sheet Glass Foundation for Materials Science and Engineering, held a grant briefing session in seminar room 2-1. Prof. Goto is the Founding Editor of the Journal of Asian Ceramic Societies, a Fellow of the American Ceramic Society, and an Academician of the World Academy of Ceramics.

The study systematically compares the sintering effects of hot pressing and spark plasma sintering on the oxide solid electrolyte LLZO. This work has been featured on the homepage of Tohoku University. Notably, it has attracted wider attention through coverage in the world’s largest financial newspaper 日本経済新聞 [Link].
