Prof. Tomoki Ozawa, PI at the AIMR, won the 27^th (FY2023) Marubun Research Encouragement Award.

This award recognizes and honors remarkable researches, or research achievements, which are expected to contribute to the advancement of science and technology and improvement of creative industrial technology that leads to the creation of the next generation of industries, or young researchers who are making remarkable progress in that respect and motivated to undertake creative researches.

Prof. Ozawa was honored for his work in “Theoretical contribution to topological photonics including proposals for synthetic dimensions.”
