Qualifications
  • A doctoral or Ph.D. degree or equivalent
  • An academic background in any field of Natural sciences, Engineering, Humanities, or Social sciences.
  • Besides the strong academic background, excellent written and verbal communication skills at a scientific setting, time management ability under demanding schedule, excellent interpersonal skills, and willingness to work in a team are required.
  • We welcome highly motivated dynamic candidates who have a strong passion for bridging between scientists from diverse disciplines.
Content of work [Job Description]
A unique position, where a scientist with advanced degrees acts as a strategic planner and coordinator under the supervision of the Forum Director. He (she) arranges a series of academic programs such as conferences, workshops and seminars in connection with the themes of the Forum.
[Job duties and responsibilities]
Duties include the coordination and promotion of scientific programs in liaison with scientists and various stakeholders in Japan and overseas. Additional duties may include assignments to promote international academic exchanges.

    The contract is subject to the Work Rules for Fixed-Term Employees at National University Corporation Tohoku University.
