We look for an assistant professor or a postdoctoral researcher to work on collaborations between mathematical science and clinical medicine. Successful applicant will be a member of the JST-CREST project “New Challenges for Mathematical Modeling in Clinical Medicine (will open in a new tab)" (Project period: October 2015 to March 2022)
The objective of the project is to construct mathematical tools for various problems in clinical medicine. The research topics of this job vacancy include
  • Medical image processing and information extraction
  • Data assimilation using measurement data such as ultrasound or MRI
  • Numerical simulations for blood flows and/or fluid–structure interactions
  • Modeling of human networks
