Recruitment of Postdoctoral Researcher (Device/System Group, Orimo Lab., AIMR)

This postdoctoral researcher position serves researches for developing Li, Na, and/or Mg ion-conducting hydride solid electrolytes and their application devices based on material science, solid-state ionics, electrochemistry, and mathematical science in collaboration with Prof. Orimo. The applicant is expected to contribute to some of following research issues; ①development of superionic hydride conductors, ②analysis on ionic-conduction properties, ③clarification of ion-conduction mechanism, and ④development of all-solid-state batteries.

Qualifications ・Ph.D. degrees
・Good communication, oral presentation and research paper writing skills
・Ability to work well in a team and to collaborate with a with other research fields
・Research experience in one or more listed fields;
(a) metal/inorganic hydride, (b) solid electrolyte, and (c) rechargeable battery (especially lithium ion battery).
