Prof. Ohno won the 5th Isamu Akasaki Award
Professor Hideo Ohno, AIMR PI, won the 5th Compound Semiconductor Electronics Achievement Award (Isamu Akasaki Award).
This award was established with donation of prize money from Professor Isamu Akasaki (Nobel laureate, Professor, Meijo University) when he has received the Kyoto Prize in 2009. It is presented to significant progress research in the field of compound semiconductor electronics.
Award Ceremony will be held at the 62th Japan Society of Applied Physics Spring Meeting 2015 (11 – 14 March 2015) in Kanagawa.
